About Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
In our day-to-day lives, people are often not disturbed by things but instead by the way they see things, in other words, their perspective. Sometimes a person’s perspective can lead to negative thoughts and emotions, and then to actions that make them, and others, unhappy and feeling stuck. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy helps people to see the connections between their thoughts, feelings, and behavior which gives them the ability to shift their perspective toward one that is more hopeful, compassionate, and life-affirming.
About EMDR
EMDR is a therapy that has proven successful in treating the symptoms and emotional distress that result from disturbing life experiences.
